About Our
Organization

Smelter City Recreation Complex (SCRC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Anaconda, Montana. Our goal is to create and operate a community-focused recreational facility where fitness, wellness, and lifelong-learning activities take place.

This grassroots effort was initially affiliated with, and championed by the Anaconda Community Foundation and was incorporated in the State of Montana on June 29, 2016.

Our vision is to build a recreational haven that not only serves as a hub for fitness enthusiasts but also becomes a vibrant center for families, friends, and neighbors to come together, promoting a healthier and more connected community.

How to Get Involved

Donate

Every donation makes a difference. SCRC will launch a Capital Funding Campaign focused on raising the $5+ million dollars needed to build our facility in the very near future.. Until that time, we rely on the daily donations from our community to cover our ongoing operational costs.

Thanks to community donations, we are able to cover the cost of our office and our marketing materials. We have also been able to complete initial conceptual drawings and cost estimates for construction and operations.

Smelter City Recreation Complex is a 501(c)(3) public charity with contribution deductibility. Our Tax ID# is 81-3281617. Every donation (big or small) is significant, and appreciated..

Get Involved

Throughout the year, SCRC values the service of volunteers who contribute their time to activities such as community outreach, event staffing, and fundraising.

Volunteer positions will be posted here as they become available; but please do not hesitate to reach out and express your interest in being involved today!
